Demand for national employees increasingDubai: Demand for a UAE national workforce is on the rise in the private sector as companies seek to adhere to the Ministry of Labour's emiratisation strategy, said a senior ministry official. The National Human Resources and Employment Authority (Tanmia) has registered a dramatic increase in the number of private companies advertising positions for nationals following the new emiratisation policies, said Dr Khalid Al Khazraji, Labour undersecretary and Acting Director-General of Tanmia. They have doubled in number in the last three months rising from 150 available positions to 300 per week according to Tanmia statistics.
