Arabian Forasol, a UAE/Swiss company, has been awarded two piling packages for the Trump Tower station on the trunk and the Atlantis station on the Palm's crescent. Piling began on the crescent station this week and will start on the Gateway stop in September. Before the market opened this morning, the manufacturer of Global Positioning System devices reported a $120.7 million profit for the three months. Min Kao, Garmin's chief executive, said the sale of automotive products grew by more than 100 percent during the period. "Solid growth in both our automotive/mobile and outdoor/fitness segments has positioned us to exceed our earlier 2006 guidance for these segments," Kao said in a statement. The company raised its sales projections for 2006 to $1.6 billion, and earnings per share forecast to "exceed $3.90."
