Zimbabwe: Cheetahs Get IRB Sevens InvitationZIMBABWE sevens rugby has received a major boost with an invitation to the Dubai and George IRB Sevens in December. Zimbabwe's Zambezi Cheetahs last played in Dubai in 2003, and although they played in George last year, Dubai is their first major tournament in three years. Zimbabwe earns their invitation on their spirited showing at George last year, the European tour and the Mosi and Tusker tournaments this year. "That's what we have been working hard for since 2003," Bruce Hobson, the national sevens manager, said. "It is the full benefit of all the work that we have put in. Our potential is increasing all the time." Firms with over 100 staff 'must' emiratise HR postsDubai: Companies with more than 100 employees will have to emiratise their national human resources managerial positions, according to an administrative decision issued by the Ministry of Labour yesterday. The decision issued by Dr Khalid Al Khazraji, Labour undersecretary and Acting Director-General of the National Human Resources and Employment Authority (Tanmia), stipulates that companies with over 100 employees will have to emiratise their human resources managerial positions within 18 months. The process must start immediately. If these companies find it difficult to meet this target, they have the option to emiratise human resources positions in two phases. In the first phase, they must emiratise 50 per cent of all human resources positions within 18 months. read more. New hotel soonClose to seven hundred Barbadians will find employment at the new Four Seasons Hotel when it is completed in another three years. Developer of the west coast property, Michael Pemberton says training of the employees will be a priority from early next year. Pemberton says tenders are out for construction of the five star hotel which is expected to cost about six hundred million dollars. But he disclosed that he's already in negotiations with a number of international construction firms, including some who have built large global brands in Dubai. Four Seasons has eighty hotels worldwide and is constructing another twenty.
