One of the most popular and rewarding attractions is a Bedouin desert safari located some 50 miles outside of the city. Visitors who scratch beneath the shiny surface of the city are often with a real glimpse into Middle Eastern life and a sample of the historic and cultural legacy that is retained within Emirate life. Exploring the wider region of Dubai is relatively easy, although the public transport system doesn’t cover all areas and the best option is perhaps car rental. Order on state-run units to be amended: Andhra CMHyderabad, Aug 2: Under attack from the opposition and Left on a controversial order on reforms in public enterprises, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhar Reddy today announced it would be amended to remove apprehensions about the retrenchment of workers."I have asked the chief secretary to study the order in depth and carry out needful amendments to dispel all doubts," Reddy told reporters here.Terming the opposition campaign against the order as "much ado about nothing", he said the order, issued by the Public Enterprises Department, had only talked about an action plan to improve the functioning of state-run units and mentioned an estimated figure of surplus staff."Let me make it clear that our government will not retrench any jobs nor will it close down any profit-making public sector undertaking. read more. LCL Corp associate lands RM68.8m Dubai jobLCL Corporation Bhd said its associated company in Dubai, LCL Interiors LLC (LCL Interiors) has received a letter of acceptance from CSHK Dubai Contracting (LLC) (CSHK) for interior finishes sub-contract works worth RM68.8 million for the service apartment in the Burj Dubai Development. In a statement on July 26, the company said that LCL Interiors was awarded the sub-contract works for all interior finishes to the service apartment (17th to 41st floor), the front of the house areas and interior finishing of the four passenger lift cabs on July 24. LCL Corporation said the sub-contract works would commence immediately with completion scheduled for October 2007, and is expected to contribute positively towards its earnings for the current financial year.
